• How often should I use Affirm-A-Visions™?

We recommend listening to the AAV of your choice, twice per day for maximum effectiveness. To ensure that you create the new neural networks in your brain, which are necessary to form new habits, we recommend using the same AAV for at least 25-30 days.

• Are Affirm-A-Visions™ safe for children?

Yes. There is some PG Language in our My Life Sucks Spoof App. There will be specific apps for children in the near future.

Can Affirm-A-Visions™ be harmful in anyway?

People with a history of stroke, epilepsy or seizures are strongly advised not to listen to the audio feature in AAVs. Due to the advanced nature of this technology, you must never drive or operate any dangerous machinery while listening to these audios.

• What is the best environment to use an Affirm-A-Visions™?

Use your AAVs when you can give them your full attention. It is best to use them in a calm and peaceful environment, although there is no such thing as a bad place to use an AAV. We suggest using high quality headphones when possible, to fully benefit from the binaural beats and brain entrainment technology.

• What is brainwave entrainment technology (BWE)?

iPhone FAQ

• How do I install an Affirm-A-Vision™ App?

If you have bought the Affirm-A-Vision app using the app store function of your iPhone, your app will download and install automatically IF you are connected to a wifi connection. If you bought the app from the iTunes store on your PC/Mac, you will need to connect your iPhone/iPod touch to the computer that you are synced with, launch iTunes and the Sync the device.

• How do I play Affirm-A-Vision™ from iTunes?

Apps do not play in iTunes, you have to have a device to play the App on. Our Affirm-A-Vision™ Apps currently play on all iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

• I don't have iTunes or an iPhone, can I still use an Affirm-A-Vision™?

• Can I load AAV Applications onto my Blackberry or other Smart Phone?

Right now we only offer our Affirm-A-Vision™ Apps on the iPhone and iPod Touch. We plan to produce Affirm-A-Vision™ Apps for other smart phones in the near future.

• The intro is not playing anymore, what happened?

By default, the introduction will play the first time you use the app and then turn itself off. However some AAV users like to listen to our relaxing narrative and special effect as a way to get into the meditative state to enhance their experience. You can turn the intro on again in the setting screen.

• Can I change the pictures in my Affirm-A-Vision™?

• How do I turn the words off and see just the images?

By default, affirmations appear as text before each image. Some people may find reading interrupts the flow of their experience. You can use this setting to turn the words off.

• How do I turn off the voice and read just the text?

By default, spoken affirmations accompany each image. Some people may prefer to read the affirmation text and repeat it to themselves while looking at the image. You can use this setting to turn the voice off.

• How do I turn off the music?

By default, music plays in the background while you view each image. If you are using headphones, we recommend that you keep the music on. The music track contains the subconscious signals that are designed to enrich your experience and increase the Affirm-A-Vision's™ effectiveness. If you are not using headphones and want to turn off the music, you can use this setting.

• How do I get updates for these Apps?

You will receive an indicator on your iPhone (a small red badge on the App Store icon) if an update is available.

• Do I need the updates?

Often the updates can be due to an Apple update, so it would be best to update the app too.

• I bought the App for my phone, but cannot find the App. Where is it?

The apps are scattered across the home screen. You may need to scroll to the right to find additional pages of apps. If you cannot find your app try re-syncing your device.

• How do I download Affirm-A-Vision™ Applications to my computer?

Downloading our Affirm-A-Vision™ Apps is easy! You can either go to our AAV Store – www.i-grasshopper.com/store.php - to find the App you'd like to purchase, or search for i-Grasshopper in iTunes to see our apps. One purchased the App downloads into iTunes. (You must first have iTunes installled)

To load our Affirm-A-Vision™ Apps on your iPhone or iPod Touch, simply purchase the App from iTunes and then sync your device.

• I bought the wrong App from iTunes, can I exchange it?

Here’s Apple’s App Store refund policy: There are no refunds. Period.

You can however get a refund only under one circumstance, and it has nothing to do with whether you like the app or not. According to paragraph 12B of Apple’s App Store Terms and Conditions, you’re entitled to your money back when, “On occasion, technical problems may delay or prevent delivery of your product.”

• My iPhone/iPod Touch broke, how do I replace my Affirm-A-Vision™?

Once you have fixed or replaced your iPhone/iPod Touch simply re-sync your device with your iTunes software. Be sure your AAV Apps are selected in your iTunes settings.

• The App doesn't run after installation or shuts down during play?

To ensure optimal quality of a new App, it is recommended that you restart your device after installing it. To restart your device, press and hold both Home and Power buttons for about 10 seconds until the device restarts.

• My App just stopped working, what do I do?

If you App was working and then just stop working we believe there to be an issue with your device.

Here are two suggestions Apple gives for troubleshooting such issues:

#1) Restart or Reset your iPhone or iPod Touch

Computer Video FAQ

• I am having problems with my Affirm-A-Vision™ videos.

IMPORTANT: For the best user experience we have found that our Affirm-A-Visions™ are most compatible with the QuickTime Player. This free player is available for both Windows and Mac. QuickTime 6 was downloaded more than 350 million times. Moreover 98% of those downloads were from PC users, at a rate of over 10 million per month.

But I’m already using QuickTime Player:

The most common reason for playback issue for QuickTime users is taht you have an old version. Our videos were created with the (H.264 codec), which only plays correctly with QuickTime 7 or later. You can update your version of QuickTime to the latest version that includes the H.264 codec plugin here:

I have a different player that isn’t working:

If you are using a different player we still recommend downloading and using QuickTime Player; simply put, your Affirm-A-Vision™ will look and play the best on QuickTime. However we’ve tested our Affirm-A-Visions™ on all of the latest players and they are working fine. Unfortunately we cannot offer support for your computer’s configuration, video player settings or possible video card driver issues. You will need to contact your computer manufacturer, video player’s software developer or your computer technician for assistance with these issues.

• How can I burn my Affirm-A-Vision™ Video Apps onto a DVD?

In order to burn an Affirm-A-Vision™ DVD, you must have a DVD Burner. By using the software that came with your DVD Burner, such as Nero, Toast or Disk Utility, you can drag the AAV video file, or multiple files, into that software and begin the burning process.

• I bought the wrong Video App, can I exchange it?

If you have already purchased and downloaded a digital product, such as one of our Video App files, it cannot be exchanged or returned.

• I never received my Affirm-A-Vision™ Video?

Once you have fully completed your transaction you will receive an e-mail from i-Grasshopper with a link to download your product. If after using this link your product did not download properly please try downloading it again. You have 5 attempts and up to 24 hours. The only other reason you may not have received your AAV is if your credit card was declined. You can contact sales@i-grasshopper.com for more assistance.
